“Leah Not Leia” will screen at the Wet Your Pants Film Festival April 21 & 22 at the Madam Walker Theater in Indianapolis, Indiana.

About The Festival

Wet Your Pants Comedy Film Festival is dedicated to raising money and awareness for kidney disease, which affects thousands of Americans and their families each and every day. The festival began in honor of Steve Pearce who worked diligently to raise awareness of kidney disease before he succumbed to its complications in September of 2009.

About Leah Not Leia

A dark comedy about a baby girl born during the STAR WARS boom in 1977 who shares a similar name to a certain Jedi Princess that wasn’t allowed to wear underwear. Written by Kate Chaplin. Directed by Tom Johnson and Nate Savidge. Stars: Carrie Fedor, Joshua C. Ramsey, Liz Collar and Chris Spurgin.

“Home Security” a new project from Karmic Courage

“Home Security” is a short film written and directed by Kate Chaplin. The film was created for The Collective V3 featuring all female directors.

Home Security is the story of a crooked security salesman who is prepping for a big score. The film features Emmanuel Carter as “Robert” and L.E. Bradford as “Mia.” It’s got a nice twist and a little Tales for the Crypt or Twilight Zone feel to it.

The DVD will be available in March on The Collective V3 featuring 10 short films by 10 female directors.

Seeking Cast & Crew for “Love Dance”

“Love Dance” is a sexual comedy short film written By Terry Shepard and produced and directed by Kate Chaplin of Karmic Courage Productions. Shooting dates are slated for the first weekend in October, 2011 to be filmed in Noblesville, Indianapolis, and Anderson.

ABOUT “LOVE DANCE”: When a married couple looks to spice up their love life they get a little more than they bargained for.
