After being blackmailed by big business, the couple takes on the task to raise this analog and teach her what it means to be human and what it means to be a woman. Inspired by the poem by Reverend Martin Niemoller of the same name, First They Came for… is set in a not so distant future where a nondescript regime takes away innocent people while one man struggles between standing up for what’s right and saving himself. Written/Directed by Kate Chaplin. Stars: Scott Ganyo and Gavin Rulon.  Winner of the Audience Award at the 19th INDY Awards. Winner of the Silver Award for Defying Stereotypes at the Gold Awards in Hollywood, CA.
